Fruit Salad - Evelyn Nelson

Mrs. Nelson drove a green 1968 Pontiac GTO.  Pretty sporty for an older lady, but actually I remember riding with her on several occassions home from church - I don't think the speedometer ever got past 30 mph.  Mrs. Nelson lived in a small block house behind the Midtown Shopping Center in Albany.  I remember distinctly how small the house was.  My fondest memory was watching the bobbing bird on her kitchen counter.

2 - 16 ox. Cartons of Sour Cream
1-1/2 cups of sugar
1 bottle of cherries
2 sliced bananas
4 tsp. lemon juice
1 large can of pineapple tidbits
1 cup of nuts

Mix together and chill in refrigerator.
